MAYOR AND COUNCIL DISCUSSION ITEMS - None <br />BUSINESS ITEM(S) <br />Fiscal Year 2025-26 Budget Workshop #1 — Stacey Dabbs presented a PowerPoint to <br />the Mayor and City Council for review and discussion. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT — None <br />COUNCIL DISCUSSION AND QUESTIONS <br />All members of the City Council along with Mayor Navarro had questions about the <br />budget presentation study, and staff responded to all questions and addressed any <br />concerns. <br />Mayor Navarro made the following recommendations: <br />Look into funding a full-time deputy city clerk as requested by the City Clerk's <br />Office. <br />Look into funding (3) full-time firefighter/EMTs as requested by Colton Fire <br />Department. <br />CM Chastain requested that staff look into funding (1) part-time Community Service <br />Officer. <br />All recommendations were directed to the City Manager without further discussion or <br />objections from the City Council. <br />(all comments by staff and council can be viewed on our Colton City Website <br />(www.coltonca.gov) <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Mayor Navarro Adjourned the Special Budget Workshop Meeting at 7:47p.m. <br />
