The original
contract was written in the amount of $24,500. In June 2006, the original agreement was amended
to compensate the consultant for additional studies required of the City by Caltrans.
DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS:
Additional time and work has been required of the consultant to complete and comply with the
requests made by Caltrans for the environmental phase of the Colton Bike Lane Project. Staff requests Council approve the increase in compensation to circumvent further
delays to the completion of the environmental phase of the Colton Avenue Bike Lane Project as
allowed by the purchasing ordinance section 3.08.140 (e). The final amendment to the Agreement
would increase the total contract compensation to $76,073.25.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Funding for this project is available in account: 457-9165-6983-3890.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
Not Applicable.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST:
Exact Business Name:
President or Equal:
Contact Representative:
RECOMMENDATION:
Transportation Engineering & Planning, Inc.
Craig S.
