R-144-06 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2006/2007 CAPITAL IMRPOVEMENT PROGRAM <br />BUDGET TO INCLUDE THE WEST ENTRANCE, PHASE X, OF THE CITY HALL <br />REMODEL PROJECT AND INCREASE FUNDING ALLOCATION TO PHASE IV AND X BY <br />A TOTAL OF $460,000. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and <br />existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for fiscal year commencing July <br />1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007 was approved on June 20, 2006; <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of the appropriations between departmental <br />activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to <br />the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving <br />City infrastructure and the aesthetics of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the funding has been identified for the allocation of this project by <br />drawing from reserves. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DO HEREBY <br />RESOLVE that the City Hall Phase IV and Phase X be budgeted to increase as <br />follows: <br />1) Increase account 100-0620-6960-3890 by $160,000 <br />2) Increase account 100-0715-6960-3890 by $300,000 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DAY OF NOVEMBER 2006. <br />DEIRDRE H.
