The City Council hereby accepts the grant award from the County of <br />San Bernardino in the amount of $83,772.00 for the purchase of three (3) police <br />motorcycles. <br />Section 2. The City Council approves the purchase of three (3) police <br />motorcycles in the total amount of $122,196.30 from BMW Motorcycles of Riverside <br />in accordance with Colton Municipal Code Section 3.08.140(c). <br />Section 3. Approval of Resolution R-02-26 will accept the grant award from the <br />County and amend the FY2025-26 budget to accept the award as follows: <br />1. Increase revenues by $83,722.00 in Miscellaneous Grants Fund Account <br />Number 225-5890-026 for acceptance of the funding. <br />2. Appropriate $83,772 in Miscellaneous Grant Fund Capital Outlay Account <br /># 225-6070-7084-4930-0000-026 to expend the County award. <br />Section 4. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to execute all <br />documents and take all actions necessary to accept the grant award and implement this <br />Resolution. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 20TH DAY OF JANUARY 2026. <br />ATTEST: <br />Clerk <br />
