Public Hearings <br />To speak on public hearing items, it is requested that you submit your filled out public <br />comment card into the public comment card box before the meeting begins. Once your name <br />is called you may approach the podium. Please begin your public comment by stating your <br />name and your city of residence; then proceed to share your public comment. The applicant <br />will be allowed 5 minutes to address the Council, and all other people will be allowed 3 <br />minutes. The presiding officer shall have certain discretion to extend or limit time as provided <br />for in the City Council Manual of Procedure. <br />1) Housing Element Programs 10 and 11 - Time and Place Fixed to Consider a Public Hearing <br />to Adopt Resolution No. R-14-26 of the Colton City Council Approving Map Plan <br />Amendments to Nine Areas of the 2013 General Plan Land Use Map and Text <br />Amendments to the 2013 General Plan Land Use Element to Implement Programs 10 and <br />11 of the Colton General Plan 2021-2029 6th Cycle Housing Element and Adopting <br />Environmental Findings Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, Adopting a <br />Statement of Overriding Considerations, Certifying the Final Environmental Impact Report <br />(SCH #2025010520) and Adopting Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program and <br />Waive Full Reading, Read by Title Only and Pass First Reading of an Ordinance to Adopt <br />Ordinance No. O-05-26 of the Colton City Council to Amend the City's Official Zoning Map <br />Changing Zoning of Certain Property and Amending the Text of Certain Sections of Title 18 <br />(Zoning Code), Sections 18.06.060 (Uses Permitted in Each Zone) of Chapter 18.06 (Zoning <br />Districts and Maps) Chapter 18.16 (R-3 AND R-4 Multiple-Family Residential) Zone, <br />Chapter 18.23 (Mixed Use Downtown) Zone, and Chapter 18.58 (Administration) in <br />Compliance with General Plan Housing Element Programming and Adopting <br />Environmental Findings Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, Adopting a <br />Statement of Overriding Considerations, Certifying the Final Environmental Impact Report <br />(SCH #2025010520) and adopting Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program (File <br />Index No. DAP-001-744), Resolution No. R-14-26 & Ordinance No. O-05-26. <br /> <br /> Staff Person: Heidi Duron <br />Business Items <br />To speak on business items, it is requested that you submit your filled out public comment card <br />into the public comment card box before the meeting begins.
