EXHIBIT A <br />Bid Specification: Fencing <br />For the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton ("Agency") <br />Rancho Mediterrania Manufactured Home Estates <br />700 East Washington Street, Colton, CA, 92324 <br />Replacement or Repair of any damaged fence or gates on an as -needed basis: <br />Material: Boards: Redwood or Cedar. 1" x 6" x8', Dog Eared cut <br />Posts: Redwood or Cedar. 4" x 4" <br />Rails: Redwood or Cedar: 2" x 4" <br />Hardware: Galvanized 8d nails (2") <br />Zinc -plated heavy duty Tee Hinge <br />Zinc -plated heavy duty Gate Latch <br />Demolish: Demolish and Dispose of off-site at Contractor's expense, all pre-existing <br />damaged fencing, posts and gates to be replaced <br />Installation: Posts: Set within a new concrete footing 8" in diameter with a minimum <br />depth of 18" in depth. Each Post has a finished height of 5' above grade & installed <br />8' apart <br />Rails: Secure rails to posts with 2 nails per side per rail set on 8' centers <br />Bottom Rail 10" above grade and top rail 5' above grade <br />Boards: Secure each board with two nails into top railing and two in bottom rail <br />Gate: Install 36" wide Gate on side adjacent to the garage <br />(unless otherwise determined before installation) <br />Return: Install a non -good neighbor return <br />Gate Hardware installed on the inside (not visible from the street) <br />Built with the Good Neighbor Fence Design <br />Install Pull String to open gate latch from street side <br />No nails neither protruding from nor splitting the wood <br />Warranty: Workmanship: 5 Years <br />
