Bid Specification: Garage Door/Motor and Transmitters Page 2 of 2 <br />Safety System: <br />Non -Contact Reversing System: a light beam system that once interrupted during the <br />garage door progressing in a lowering motion (door closing) the garage door shall stop and <br />immediately reverse its direction to an upwardly motion (door opening). <br />Contact Reversing System: so that if a lowering (closing) garage door touches an object <br />the garage door shall instantly stop and immediately reverse its direction to an upwardly <br />motion (opening). <br />Automatic Light System: the garage door motor shall have two 60 watt light bulbs (at a <br />minimum) that illuminates garage when either the Wall Mount Switch or the Remote <br />Transmitters activate the motor to open the garage door. The light shall remain on for a <br />minimum of five minutes or until the motor has not been activated to close the garage door. <br />Manual Emergency Release: enabling an individual to easily flick a lever permitting them <br />to open and/ or close the garage door manually. <br />
