We congratulate both on the completion of the Santa Ana River
bikeway through Colton.
If the Colton City Council decides to replace the regional park with a high-end golf course
community, as suggested, then the 17 acres we donated to the county will revert to TWC, as
stated in the donation agreement. We will sell this land and use ahe proceeds on other imponwit
projects. We state for the record that our organization will not provide the developer's open
space or park requirements.
We appreciate your hard work on this project and the hard. work of Tom Potter and Maureen
Snelgrove of San Bernardino County Regional Parks. We look forward to continuing our
partnership on the Santa Ana River Trail and Parkway. We will continue to enhance the lives of
thousands of Colton elementary school children through our Oak Glen Outdoor Discovery
Program.
