BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS: <br />➢ Appointments —Pursuant to MC§ Section 2.30.030 —Manner of Appointment. <br />None <br />AGENDA REVIEW: City Manager. <br />City Manager Parrish presented Consent Calendar Items No. (s) 4 thru 21 for approval. <br />Motion/second by CM De La Rosa/Mitchell to approve Consent Calendar Items 4 thru 21 with <br />Item 13 being pulled for separate vote. Unanimous vote. <br />(13) Contract/NetFile - Approve Contract with NetFile for a Management System for the <br />Recipient Committee Campaign Statement (CA FORM 460) in the Amount of $10,000 a <br />year, and Authorize the City Manager to Complete the Negotiations and Execute an <br />Agreement upon Risk Manager and City Attorney's Approval. <br />Motion/second by Mayor Chastain/CM Toro to approve staff's recommendation and provide an <br />evaluation report as to the effectiveness of the program at the time of the mid -year budget <br />sessions where the City clerk will be requesting funding for the balance of the year. Motion <br />carried with CM De La Rosa/Mitchell and Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil voting "NO". <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />(4) Warrants — Approved Payable Warrants #88552 to #88749, Dated 5/31/07, Totaling <br />$1,405,783.46; Approval of Payroll Disbursement Listing for 8/10/07, Totaling <br />$846,173.26. <br />(5) Personnel/Police — Approved Request for the Internal Filling of a Vacant Senior Police <br />Services Clerk Position and Recruitment for the Resulting Vacated Police Services Clerk <br />Position. <br />(6) Salary for Police Cadets and Stenographers - Approved and Adopted a Part -Time Salary <br />Resolution for Police Cadets and Stenographers, RESOLUTION NO. R-113-07. <br />(7) Personnel/Public Works — Approved Authorization for Ratification and Recruitment for a <br />Full -Time Position of Maintenance Worker I to Underfill One Vacancy in the Streets <br />Division, within the Public Works Department. <br />(8) Personnel/Fire - Approved Request for the Recruitment and Ratification of Employee <br />Appointment to the Full -Time Position of Firefighter Medic in the Fire Department. <br />(9) Salary Update for Executive Assistant - Approved the Amended Salary Resolution to <br />Update the Salary of the Executive Assistant in the Mid -Manager Bargaining Unit and <br />the salary for the Executive Assistant to Council/Office Manager, RESOLUTION NO. R- <br />114-07. <br />(10) Homeland Security Grant - Approved Acceptance of Homeland Security Grant as <br />Administered through the San Bernardino County Fire Operational Area in the Amount of <br />$53,875.00 for the Purchase of a Long Range Acoustical Device in Cooperation with the <br />2007 AUG 21 REG CC/RDA/CUA MEETING - 6 - <br />
