ITEM #2 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />CLOSED SESSION - COUNCIUREDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY <br />OCTOBER 16,2007 <br />Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:02 p.m., in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Chastain presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil, Mitchell, Oliva, Yzaguirre, De La <br />Rosa and Mayor Chastain. CM Toro absent. <br />City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss <br />item A and C, with Item B to at the next regular council meeting on November 20, 2007. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />A. City of Colton, et al. <br />Case Number: US District Court Case No. EDCV 06-00429 SGL (OPx) <br />Mayor Chastain adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:02 p.m. and at 6:01 p.m.; the <br />meeting reconvened with all members present. <br />City Attorney Derleth reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on <br />Item A: no reportable action; and for Item C: with a unanimous vote of the members of council <br />present to settle in the amount of $65,000. <br />A.
