Escalation/De-escalation for wire and cable is standard in the industry because of the volatility of <br />metals in the market. <br />A Bid Analysis is attached showing the prices for both the minimum (guaranteed) amounts and <br />the maximum (non -guaranteed) amount for the cable. The totals for the minimum amounts are in <br />bold and underlined. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Cable is purchased into Electric Stores inventory account number 520-1500-154 and is charged to <br />the appropriate budget account when put in service.
