Following the initial evaluation of the proposals, Willdan and Transtech Engineering were invited to <br />participate in the next round of negotiations. Staff negotiated favorable terms and conditions with <br />both finalists, including reduced pricing from Willdan. For maximum efficiency, Staff believes it to <br />be in the City's best interest to award agreements to both Willdan and Transtech Engineers, in the <br />amount of $45,000 for each agreements. The form of the agreements are the City's standard <br />Professional Services Agreement. Copies of the draft agreements are attached to this report. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Funds for the proposed agreements for Willdan and Transtech Engineering are available in the <br />current fiscal year budget in the following account: 100-6300-6302-2350 (Professional Services). <br />The total budgeted amount for theses services is $139,234.56. Community Development currently <br />has encumbered $12,734.11 and expenditures of $1,962.47, with a remaining balance of <br />$124,537.98 (less the outstanding invoices of approximately $35,000 to Willdan, which will be <br />addressed through another agenda report to the City Council on January 15, 2008). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />CONFLICT OF INTEREST: <br />Company Name: Willdan <br />President: David L.
