RESOLUTION NO. R-16-08 <br />1 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />3 COMMENCING JULY 1, 2007 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2008. <br />4 <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commending <br />5 <br />6 July 1, 2007 and ending June 30, 2008 was approved and adopted, and; <br />7 WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />8 ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State, and; <br />9 WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities <br />10 may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the <br />11 Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />12 NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />13 HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />14 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino County, <br />California authorizes, entering into the State of California Agreement CLTK- <br />15 7071 providing for a cost of living increase to the State's Department of <br />Education Latchkey Grant in the amount of $22,441. <br />16 <br />SECTION 2: As a result of this agreement, it is necessary to make an <br />17 adjustment to the fiscal year 2007-08 budget. The allocation in the Childcare <br />18 Fund, revenue account 206-5768 shall be increased by the agreement amount <br />of $22,441. Additionally, the allocations for expenditure accounts 206-7200- <br />19 7202-1010, and 206-7200-7202-1040, shall be increased by $15,000 and <br />$7,441, respectively. <br />20 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February, 2008. <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 KELLY J.
