Electronic reader signs shall be permitted as part of a freestanding signs provided such <br />electronic reader sign is integrated within the design of the greater freestanding sign. <br />5. Freestanding Signs. <br />a. Monument and pylon signs are preferred over pole signs because they can be <br />more fully integrated in to the overall development design. In fact, pole signs <br />are specifically prohibited. Pylon signs shall be constructed with architectural <br />cladding or similar material covering the supporting framework so they are <br />architecturally integrated with the rest of the sign. <br />-22- <br />
