Figure 18.50-2: Pole Sign <br />"Political sign" means a sign erected prior to an election to advertise or identify a candidate, <br />campaign issue, election proposition or other related matters. <br />"Pylon Sign" means a freestanding sign in excess of six feet in height which is detached from a <br />building and is supported by one or more structural elements that are architecturally similar to <br />the design of the sign.
