R-45-08 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA TO <br />INCREASE THE FISCAL YEAR 2007/2008 CAPITAL IMRPOVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $236,853 FOR THE FIRE STATION REMODEL PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and <br />existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for fiscal year commencing July <br />1, 2007 and ending June 30, 2008 was approved on June 19, 2007; <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of the appropriations between departmental <br />activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to <br />the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving <br />City infrastructure and the aesthetics of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the funding has been identified for the allocation of this project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DO HEREBY <br />RESOLVE that the FY 2007/2008 Capital Improvement Program budget be amended <br />to <br />1) Increase the FY 2007/2008 CIP budget in the amount of $236,853 for the <br />2007/2008 Fire Station Remodel Project: <br />a. Increase 450-8101-100 $192,153 <br />b. Increase 100-8102-450 $192,153 <br />c. Increase 250-8102-450 $44,700 <br />d. Increase 450-8101-250 $44,700 <br />e. Increase 450-0610-6960-3890 $192,153 <br />f. Increase 450-0610-6975-3890 $44,700 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 201h DAY OF MAY 2008. <br />KELLY J.
