ITEM #5 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />CLOSED SESSION — REGULAR COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON <br />UTILITY AUTHORITY CLOSED SESSION MEETING MINUTES <br />JUNE 3, 2008 <br />Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:04 p.m., in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Chastain presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, CM Suchil, Oliva, Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell and Mayor <br />Chastain. <br />Absent: CM De La Rosa, CM Toro and CM Yzaguirre <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />None. <br />City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss <br />items A and B. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6 <br />Agency Representative: Anthony Arroyo, Human Resources Director <br />Employee Organizations: Police Management Association, IBEW Electric & IBEW <br />Water/Wastewater <br />B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a) <br />Case Name: American Utility Network, Inc. v. City of Colton <br />Case Number: San Bernardino County Superior Court Case No. SCVSS 137587 <br />Mayor Chastain adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:04 p.m. and at 6:03 p.m.; the <br />meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore. <br />City Attorney Derleth reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on <br />the items previously announced with no reportable action on Item A and B. <br />A.
