of America. The agreement will transfer the responsibility of constructing the Randall Basin Project to the <br />surety. The surety will work with the City to establish an agreed general contractor to oversee the completion <br />of the Project. To date the Project is approximately fifty percent complete and approximately six to eight <br />weeks of work remains to be completed. To expedite the remaining work for the Randall Basin Project staff <br />recommends approval of the attached draft take over agreement between the City and First National <br />Insurance Company of American be subject to such additional changes made by the City Attorney and Public <br />Works Director, and authorize the City Manager to execute once finalized. Acceptance of such an agreement <br />will minimize any further delays in the project. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />The County of San Bernardino has completed an Environmental Impact Report and adopted a Negative <br />Declaration for the Randall Basin Project completing the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />requirements for the Randall Basin Project.
