The surety will work with the City to establish an agreed general contractor to oversee the completion of the Project. To date the Project is approximately fifty percent complete and approximately six to eight weeks of work remains to be completed. Acceptance of such an agreement will minimize any further delays in the project. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: The County of San Bernardino has completed an Environmental Impact Report and adopted a Negative Declaration for the Randall Basin Project completing the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requirements for the Randall Basin Project. In addition, a Nation Wide Permit was issued by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers which complies with the federal environmental requirements for a project as established by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
