ITEM #1 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />CLOSED SESSION — REGULAR COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON <br />UTILITY AUTHORITY CLOSED SESSION MEETING MINUTES <br />OCTOBER 7, 2008 <br />Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:09 p.m., in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, CM Suchil, Oliva, Yzaguirre, Toro, Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell. <br />ABSENT <br />CM Yzaguirre, De La Rosa and Mayor Chastain <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />None. <br />City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss <br />items A. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(a) <br />Case Name: City of Colton v. American Promotional Events, Inc. - West, et al. <br />Case Numbers: Los Angeles County Superior Court Case No. BC 376008 <br />City Attorney adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:10 p.m. and at 6:03 p.m.; the <br />meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore. CM Yzaguirre absent from dais. <br />City Attorney Derleth reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on <br />the items previously announced with no reportable action on Item A. <br />B.
