SWAT Ad -Hoc Committee Appointments TO BE DETERMINED AT NEXT <br />REGULAR MEETING. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed the council: Bud Evans, Henry Silalahi, Jess Vasquez, <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING ITEM: <br />This was the Time And Place Fixed To Consider Proposed Increases In The Rates For Water <br />Service Fees, ORDINANCE NO. 0-03-09. <br />Item No. 20 Discussion and Direction of General Fund, Water Fund, Wastewater Fund and <br />Electric Fund Budgets, including recently approved Electric Rate Increase. (Oral Report) <br />Mayor Chastain introduced Dr. Mathis who was asked to assist in facilitating the meeting. Dr. <br />Mathis provided an explanation on how this section of the meeting would be conducted. <br />City Manager Parrish assisted by Assistant City Manager Nuaimi provided a PowerPoint <br />presentation and requested approval of staff recommendation. <br />With Dr. Mathis facilitating Council presented comments and concerns on the increase of the <br />water rates and the effects on the community <br />Public Comment: <br />The following citizens addressed the council: Tom Ramsey, Bud Evans, Jess Vasquez, John <br />Anaya, Stan Stossel. <br />Motion/second by CM Yzaguirre/CM Perez to waive full reading and pass first reading of <br />Ordinance No. 0-03-09 Amending Ordinance No. 0-07-92, 0-2-96, 0-15-98, Section 13.04 of <br />the Colton Municipal Code establishing water rates.
