Order No. 3, in the Amount of $6,500; Authorize Recordation of a Notice of Completion <br />for the Fire Station Remodel Project, RESOLUTION NO. R-34-09. <br />(16) Award of Contract/R Moody Construction, Inc. — Approved Request to Authorize the <br />Award of a Construction Contract for the Police Department Records Room Addition <br />Project to R Moody Construction, Inc., as the Lowest Responsive and Responsible <br />Bidder, in the Amount of $40,200; Authorize the City Manager to Approve Change <br />Orders Not to Exceed Ten Percent of the Awarded Contract for the Police Department <br />Records Room Addition Project. <br />(17) CUA/Short Term Loan - (1) Approved a Loan of $1,400,000 at the LAIF Rate from the <br />City's Wastewater Fund to the Water Fund to be Repaid in Full within Eighteen Months, <br />unless Formally Extended by the City and Utility Authority; and (2) Authorized the <br />Mayor to Execute the Loan Agreement in a Form Approved by the City Treasurer, City <br />Manager, Finance Director and City Attorney. <br />STAFF REPORTS: <br />DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT WRITTEN REPORTS AND <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Authorize City Manager to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with Wildan to provide <br />Building Official Support, Inspection Services, and Plan Check Services on a Time and Material <br />Basis as Called Out in the Rate Schedule of the Proposal. Also Included in this Professional <br />Services Agreement is the Scope of Services to Complete the Comprehensive Development <br />Services User Fee Study, at a Cost Not -to -Exceed $25,285. The Tenn of this Professional <br />Services Agreement is Through June 30, 2011; Increase Contract Authority by $25,000 as <br />required for Legal Services with the Law Offices of Mark Skapik and Attorney Michael <br />Montgomery as required by Legal Proceedings. <br />Assistant City Manager Nuaimi provided a brief overview on departmental changes and requests <br />approval of staff recommendation. <br />Motion/second by CM Yzaguirre/1\4ayor Pro Tempore Oliva. Motion carried with CM Toro <br />absent. <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR'S WRITTEN REPORTS AND <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Approve and Adopt Agency Resolution No. 879 Amending the 2008/2009 Agency Budget to <br />Allow Funding for the State Mandated ERAF in the Amount of $783,215, AGENCY <br />RESOLUTION NO. 879.
