City of Colton Request for Bid # RFB-DR-09-002 <br />Public Works Department Closing Date: 4/27/09 O 02:00 P.M. <br />MAILING ADDRESS: <br />160 S. 10TH STREET <br />COLTON CA 92324 <br />The vendor shall provide documentation from the Department of Motor <br />Vehicles, at the time the equipmentivehicle is delivered, as evidence of <br />having applied for registration/license. License plates shall be mounted on <br />vehicle when delivered. <br />WARRANTY: The entire unit(s), as specified, shall be fully <br />Comply( ) <br />warranted <br />Deviation: <br />from date of delivery for a minimum of one (1) year, excluding <br />consumable items such as oil and filters, and normal wear items <br />such as belts, hoses, etc. County staff may perform authorized <br />warranty repairs and receive reimbursement for travel, labor and parts. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: <br />Comply( ) <br />The successful vendor must certify that they will meet all <br />Deviation: <br />existing regulations contained in the State of California Construction <br />Safety Orders and/or O.S.H.A. at time of acceptance, for this type of <br />vehicle, all applicable South Coast Air Quality Management District <br />Regulation, all California and Federal Vehicle Code or any other <br />applicable laws or regulations for on- or off-road, and day or night <br />operation. <br />Manufacturers' standard warranty shall accompany the vehicle, <br />together with all the information required by the manufacturer on the <br />warranty form. <br />If the vehicle does not meet minimum specified, vendor will be <br />required to make necessary correction at their expense. <br />List the locations of available replacement parts and normal time <br />required for delivery of such parts. Vendor shall guarantee <br />replacement parts and make sure that they are available within 48 <br />hours or less. If parts are not available in this time period, vendor <br />shall reimburse the County for the cost of renting a vehicle until the <br />part arrives. <br />MANUAL PARTS BOOKS AND CERTIFICATES: <br />Comply( ) <br />The following are required to be provided at the time the vehicle is <br />Deviation: <br />delivered and all cost should be included in the bid price. <br />1. Two (2) complete and accurate engine technical service <br />manuals for each complete order. <br />2. Two (2) complete and accurate body, chassis, and electrical <br />technical service manuals for each complete order. <br />3. Two (2) complete and accurate, emissions systems, technical, <br />services manuals for each complete order. <br />4. Two complete and accurate parts manuals for each complete <br />order. <br />5. Two (2) complete set of keys. <br />INSPECTION: The successful vendor may contact the The City of <br />Comply( ) <br />Colton at (909) 370-5193 prior to delivery so that arrangements can <br />Deviation: <br />be made for pre -delivery inspection on vendor's premises.
