Staff Report to the Mayor and City Council <br />Agreement — Carl Warren & Company <br />March 2, 2010 <br />Page 2 <br />Due to the necessary timeliness of retaining these services, staff is recommending that the <br />competitive bidding process be bypassed, in accordance with Colton Municipal Code, Section <br />3.08.140(E), which allows for such, when in the best interest of the city and its administrative <br />operations, as determined by the City Manager. In this case, the City has been left without TPA <br />services due to the expiration of the previous contract. This proposed contract does not increase <br />costs; it simply extends the term and scope of the prior agreement. <br />FISCAL IMPACTS <br />This two-year agreement will have a General Fund impact not -to -exceed $58,000.
