1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18'. <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO R-19-10 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PROPOSED UPDATE TO <br />THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE FOR PROGRAMS & SERVICES <br />PROVIDED BY THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, under the police power granted by Article XI, Section 7 of the California <br />Constitution, cities may impose fees, charges and rates for certain municipal services, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton does currently charge fees for certain programs and <br />services offered by the Community Services Department, and; <br />WHEREAS, these fees must be analyzed and adjusted periodically to ensure that they <br />are reasonable, justified, and provide for adequate cost recovery by the city, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton wishes to consider updates to these <br />current fees for programs & services offered by the Community Services Department. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City Council does hereby intend to consider updates to fees for <br />programs & services offered by the Community Services Department <br />2. Such updates shall be considered, and public comment heard on proposed <br />action, by the City Council at 6:00 p.m. on June 1, 2010 in the City Council Chambers. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of May, 2010. <br />1 ATTEST: <br />EILEEN C.
