Staff Report to the Mayor and City Council <br />Professional Service Agreement to Engineering Resources of Southern California Inc. <br />December 21, 2010 <br />Page 2 <br />The Comprehensive Storm Drain Project 3-5 Ultimate Condition Design is 87% complete. The <br />Comprehensive Storm Drain Plan 3-5 Interim Condition Design is 48% complete. The Master <br />Drainage Plan (MDP) Update is 98% complete and is subject to SBCFCD approval. <br />To date Council has approved work that totals $728,127. Of the awarded amount of $728,127, <br />$81,243 remains unexpended. To complete the work awarded staff requests authorization to <br />execute the attached amendment extending the term of the contract to June 30, 2011; this <br />amendment does not increase the compensation. Unforeseen delays have necessitated the <br />request to extend the term of the agreement. <br />FISCAL IMPACTS <br />Funding for this project is available in account 450-0915-6911-3890 and 450-0915-6910-3890. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Provide alternative direction to staff. <br />2. Not extending the term of the contract for the Consultant will result in the project design <br />not being completed. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
