("CEQA") and is exempt from environmental review under CEQA <br />because the action is in the nature of administrative activities of government that will not <br />result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton <br />that the City strongly supports Redevelopment as a tool to finance local projects with local <br />funds. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Colton is <br />stating its strong OPPOSITION to the elimination of Redevelopment, and intends to <br />communicate its opposition of the Govenor's proposal to the Governor, the Legislature, <br />business groups, and its citizens. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of February, 2011. <br />ATTEST: <br />EILEEN C.
