SOTELO, City Manager <br />46 SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Scott Voice Amplification Date: April 30, 1991 <br />System to Vallen Safety Supply Co. in the <br />Amount of $10.414.10 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Scott Speak-Ezee voice amplification system fits into the mask of <br />the Scott self-contained breathing apparatuses that the Fire Department <br />is currently using. This is a safety item that allows the Fire Fighters <br />to talk to each other without removing their mask. <br />On April 11, 1991, General Services advertised for sealed bids for <br />this requirement. Bid opening was held at 2:30 p..ri., April 25, <br />1991, in the General Services office. One bid was received from Vallen <br />Safety Supply Co. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM <br />None <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />None.
