Acting as the governing body of the San Bernardino County Flood Control <br />District, adopt Resolution No. q I - deternuni the Flood Control <br />District Zone 2 property, Randall Basin�arP cel 70, a portion of APN 160- <br />321-01 (1.136:t acres - SPF -0228U), is no longer necessary to be retained for <br />the uses and purposes of the Flood Control District. <br />2. Authorize execution of the deed to convey the parcel to the City of Colton <br />at no cost. <br />3. Direct Real Estate Services Department to complete the conveyance. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />This property consists of a 33 -foot and 44 -foot wide strip of land adjacent to the <br />Randall Basin, Parcel 41 at the southeast comer of Meridian and Randall Avenues <br />in the City of Colton. The City has requested these strips for road widening and <br />community facility improvement purposes. <br />REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: <br />l Board of Supervisors approval is required to proceed with the conveyance. <br />REVIEW BY OTHERS.- <br />This <br />THERS:This agenda item has been reviewed by the Flood Control District, and approved <br />as to legal form by Charles S.
