CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of May 7 , 1991 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: David Michael Davis, City Librarian DM -O <br />SUBJECT: AUTHORIZATION TO TRANSFER MONIES WITHIN Date: 4/24/91 <br />LIBRARY GENERAL FUND ACCOUNTS <br />BACKGROUND <br />The current estimated amount of FY 90-91 Utilities Expenditures is <br />greater than anticipated in the FY 90-91 appropriation. In addition, <br />no monies were appropriated during; FY 90-91 for Vehicle Allowance. At <br />the same time, Library salary savings have been greater than <br />anticipated. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM <br />Without a transfer, the Utilities and Vehicle Allowance Accounts will <br />show a negative balance for FY 90-91. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />None. Transfer requires no additional appropriation. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Finance Department has advised Library staff to recommend to <br />Council that it authorize a. transfer of $6,550 in FY 90-91 unexpended <br />Library Salaries to Library Utilities and Vehicle Allowance Accounts. <br />The Colton Public Library Board of Trustees has reviewed this matter <br />and concurs with this recommendation. <br />City Manager's Concurrence <br />Edmund S elo, City Manager <br />Attachments: Budget Adjustment Request <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />DS <br />J_q.Q.a;.3��������4nq�� <br />
