Ramos, City Clerk <br />SUBJECT: Addition to Sma11 Claims Representatives <br />Background: <br />Date: May 3, 1991 <br />Resolution No. R-50-90, appoints various employees of the City as <br />Small Claims representatives <br />Statement of Problem: <br />Mr. Jerome C. Washington was recently hired as the City's Business <br />License Inspector and Collections Officer. Part of Mr. Washington's <br />position calls for him to process Collections through Small Claims. <br />The Court requires that representatives be named by resolution. The <br />exisitng Resolution No. R-50-90 does not include Mr. Washington. <br />Alternatives: None. <br />Financial Impact: <br />City will realize revenue collected through this process. <br />Environmental Impact: None. <br />RprnmmPnd a t i nn : <br />Staff recommends that Jerome C.
