STRATTON, CHIEF OF POLICE <br />Date: 4-23-91 <br />SUBJECT: COMMENDATION FOR POLICE K-9 OFFICER BILL BURROWS <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On April 6, 1991, the 5th Annual Sierra K-9 Trials took place in <br />Visalia, California. Police K-9 Teams throughout California <br />competed against each other to determine the top handlers and the <br />best trained dogs. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: <br />On April 6, 1991, Colton Police K-9 Officer Bill Burrows and his <br />K-9 Partner, Tasso, took first place overall in the Novice Class <br />for the 5th Annual Sierra K-9 Trials. Officer Bill Burrows and <br />his K-9 Partner, Tasso, recently took first place overall in the <br />Inland Valley Police K-9 Trials. <br />ALTERNATIVES: None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: None <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />For Officer Burrows' continued dedication to the Colton Police <br />Department's K-9 Program, and his outstanding performance in <br />recent K-9 competition, it is my recommendation that he be <br />commended for his accomplishments. <br />Report Prepared by: B.
