ACEVEDO, Finance Director <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Wood Poles to J.H. Baxter Date: October 15, 1991 <br />in the Amount of $11,564.77 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Wood Poles are ordered into Electric Stores inventory on an as required <br />basis. The City's Electrical Engineer estimates the quantities, based <br />on plans submitted for new development and replacement requirements. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On September 19, 1991, General Services advertised for sealed bids for <br />some of these requirements. Bid opening was held at 2:30 p.m., October <br />3, 1991, in the General Services office. Three bids were received and <br />evaluated. <br />A Bid Analysis is attached for your reveiw, showing price and delivery <br />quoted by each vendor. The recommended vendor's price is underlined. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends bid award for wood poles to J.H. Baxter in the amount <br />of $11,564.77. <br />Report Prepared by: Mary J.
