ACEVEDO, Finance Direcor <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for a Polyurethane Foam Roof Date: March 30, 1993 <br />System for the Electric Department Administration <br />Building to Bryant Organization Inc in the Amount of $9,722.00 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The roof on the Electric Department Administration Building at 150 South <br />10th Street has numerous leaks which is causing damage to the ceiling <br />and carpeting. On March 15 and 22, 1993, we advertised for quotations <br />for a polyurethane foam roof system which is a good roof system for metal <br />buildings. Bid opening was held at 2:30 p.m., March 29, 1993, in the <br />General Services office. <br />DISCUSSION <br />We only received one bid on this project and it is from Bryant Organiza- <br />tion, Inc. in San Bernardino. Their bid amount was $9,722.00 for this <br />project. This vendor has done work for the City in the past with good <br />results. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends bid award for this requirement to Bryant Organization, <br />Inc in the amount of $9,722.00.
