R-20-93 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING <br />THE PREPARATION OF THE ANNUAL ENGINEER'S <br />REPORT AND DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO SET A <br />PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROTESTS RELATED TO THE <br />ANNUAL LEVYING OF ASSESSMENTS FOR THE LANDSCAPE <br />MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />WHEREAS, a Public Hearing is being proposed for <br />June 1, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the <br />City of Colton. <br />WHEREAS, a public notice shall be advertised in the <br />local newspaper for a period not less than twice, and not <br />less than 20 days prior to the hearing date. <br />WHEREAS, Section 22622 of the Streets & Highways Code <br />of the State of California requires that an Engineer's Report <br />be prepared and filed annually, outlining the improvements to <br />be maintained and special assessments to be levied against the <br />properties within the District. <br />WHEREAS, a copy of the engineer's report will be made <br />available for public inspection for the proposed levied <br />assessments in the office of the City Clerk 20 days prior to <br />the set hearing date. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Colton that June 1, 1993 is set as the date for <br />hearing any protests as related to the annual assessments for <br />the City of Colton's Landscape Maintenance District. And as <br />the City Council of the City of Colton previously appointed <br />NBS Lowry as Engineer of Work for the purpose of preparing the <br />written report provided for in Article 4 commencing with <br />
