R-72-93 <br />4 <br />5 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 89-1 <br />6 ESTABLISHING ANNUAL SPECIAL TAX FOR <br />7 FISCAL YEAR 1993/94 <br />8 <br />9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "legislative body"), has Linitiated proceedings, held a public <br />10 hearing, conducted an election and received a favorable vote from the qualified electors <br />11 relating to the levy of a special tax in a community' facilities district, all as authorized <br />12 <br />pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of <br />13 1982", being Chapter 2.5, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code of the State <br />14 of California. This Community Facilities District shall. hereinafter be referred to as <br />15 "District" and, <br />16 WHEREAS, this legislative body, by Ordinance as authorized by Section 53340 of <br />17 the Government Code of the State of California, has authorized the levy of a special tax <br />18 to pay for costs and expenses related to said Community Facilities Districts, and this <br />19 legislative body is desirous to establish the specific rate of the special tax to be collected <br />20 for the next fiscal year. <br />21 NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />22 <br />23 SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct. <br />24 <br />25 SECTION 2. That the specific rate and amount of the special tax to be collected <br />26 to pay for the costs and expenses for the next fiscal year (1993-1994) for the referenced <br />27 District is hereby determined and established as set forth in the attached, referenced <br />-28 and incorporated Exhibit "A". <br />i <br />
