La Cadena Drive <br />Colton, CA 92324 <br />Dear Mayor Gonzales and City Council: <br />At the June 22, 1993 Board Meeting, the Colton Public Library <br />Board of Trustees considered several potential candidates to <br />fill two Board positions as of July 1, 1993. The California <br />Education Code and Chapter 2.6 of the Municipal Code stipulate <br />that these positions are for three-year terms and will, <br />therefore, expire June of 1996. <br />Trustee Naomi Carpenter has expressed a desire to continue to <br />serve on the Library Board for another term, and I believe <br />this would be a most excellent Choice. In addition, Maude <br />Rose has expressed a desire to fill the position being vacated <br />by Renald J. Anelle.
