CRY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of July 20, 1993 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Max Bowman, Interim Director of Parks, Recreation and Human Services <br />SUBJECT: Adoption of Resolution Authorizing Date: July 1, 1993 <br />Agreements for Child Care Services 1993-94 <br />BACKGROUND <br />In 1987 the City of Colton entered into agreement with the State <br />Department of Education for the provision of child care services. <br />The contracts are renewable and revised annually. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Child Development contracts for fiscal year 1993-94 will generate <br />$429,886 in revenue to the City and will provide low cost child care <br />to over 300 residents. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />It is recommended that the City Council adopt the resolution <br />authorizing state and federal 'Department of Education agreements <br />for child care services. <br />City Manager's Concurrence <br />MB:SB/spb <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of__?_ <br />0 <br />Item No.- � <br />
