Lavin, Water Utilities Manager <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Future Annexation Agreement <br />for the Lido Motel and Approval of Sewer <br />Connection to the City's Sewer System <br />BACKGROUND• <br />Date: July 13, 1993 <br />The owner of the Lido Motel located at 1087 West Valley Blvd, is requesting to connect <br />to the City sewer main located in Valley Blvd. The Lido Motel in not within the City <br />Limits. The Municipal Code, Section 13.16.110 allows for connecting to the City sewer <br />system if the connector is not located within City Limits. <br />DISCUSSION• <br />As part of the conditions to connect to the City sewer system, the property owner has <br />agreed to enter into a future annexation agreement. The agreement will be recorded as <br />a lien against the property. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT• <br />The owner will pay sewer connection fees in the amount of $36,840. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council approve the Future Annexation Agreement for the Lido <br />Motel and approve the Sewer Connection to the City's sewer system. <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />Attachments: 3 <br />Page 1 of _ Item No. // <br />
