On June 9, 1993, the Historic and Scenic Preservataion Commission reviewed the N designation of the following site as a Historic Landmark within the City of Colton: Landmark #35 Residence 1345 North 9th Street D The designation for the residential dwelling was requested by the dwelling owner, Virginia Martin, and is significant under the Architecture and Construction theme. ANALYSIS: A The residential dwelling at 1345 North 9th Street was built in 1938. It is a grand example of the Spanish Revival style, through the use of clay tile roofing, stucco and arched openings, and represents the final development of the district along the northern boundary. FINANCIAL IMPACT: R The designation of this Historic Landmark will create no financial impact to the City.
