R-05-93 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />THE CITY OF'COLTON TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />SECTIONS 18.06.060 "USES PERMITTED IN EACH ZONE", <br />18.04.218 "FOOD AND, BEVERAGE SALES", AND 18.04 <br />"DEFINITIONS" AS DESCRIBED FURTHER IN FILE INDEX <br />NUMBER DO -12-93. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton did <br />consider a text amendment, File Index Number DO -12-93, requested <br />by the City of Colton, to amend Title 18 of the Colton Municipal <br />Code as follows: <br />1) Section .18.06.060 "Uses Permitted in'each Zone" to <br />include the use "Beer and Wines Sales", and require a <br />conditional use permit in the Multiple -Family Residential <br />(R-3), Business Park (BP), Neighborhood Commercial (C-1), <br />General Commercial (C-2), Industrial Park (IP), Light' <br />Industrial (M-1) and Heavy Industrial (M-2) zones. <br />2) Section 18.04.218 "Food and Beverage Sales" to remove <br />`beer and wine sales' from the definition. <br />3) Section 18.04 "Definitions" to include the following new <br />section: <br />18.04.079 Beer and Wine Sales <br />"Beer and wine sales" means any premise engaged in the <br />sale of beer'and wine for on -premise or off -premise <br />consumption, pursuant to state licensing, excluding <br />liquor or bottled spirits. <br />WHEREAS, The Planning Commission reviewed the Environmental <br />Assessment and determined_ said text amendment warranted a <br />Negative Declaration; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did give notice of the <br />Public Hearing, as required by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did hold said Public <br />Hearing and consider Text amendment on May 11, 1993. <br />
