TO: Honorable Mayor Mhe <br />uncil <br />FOR; Cod , cil eetin�q3 <br />FROM: <br />SUBJECT: <br />BACKGROUND. <br />- <br />I.. <br />nt Director <br />Second Reading and of Ordinance No. 0-13-93, an <br />amendment to Title 18 of the Colton Municipal Code (Zoning <br />Ordinance) to require a Conditional use permit for the sale of <br />beer and wine in the Multiple -Family Residential (R-3), Business <br />Park (BP), Neighborhood Commercial (C-1), General Commercial <br />(C-2), Industrial Park (IP), Light Industrial (4-1), and Heavy Industrial <br />(M-2) zones (FELE INDEX NUMBER DO -12-93). <br />At their meeting of June 1, 1993, the City Council considered, at a duly <br />licized Hearing <br />File Index Number DO -12=93, a proposal to amend Title 18 of the Colton bMunicipal Code, <br />(Zoning Ordinance) sections 18.06.060 "Uses Permitted in Each Zone", Section 18.04.218 <br />"Food and Beverage Sales", and 18.04 "Definitions". If approved by Council, the amend- <br />ment will require a Conditional Use Permit for the sale of beer and wine in the Multiple= <br />Family Residential (R-3), Business Park (BP), Neighborhood Commercial (C-1), General <br />Commercial (C-2), Industrial Park (IP), Light Industrial (M-1), and Heavy Industrial (M-2) <br />zones. <br />DISCUSSION/ANA_LY <br />ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION <br />As previously stated, both the Design Review Committee and the Planning Commission <br />reviewed the proposed changes and recommended that a Notice of Exemption be <br />prepared. <br />RECOMMENDATir%Ki- <br />staff recommends adoption of Ordinance 0-13-93 amending Sections 18.06.060 <br />18-04.218, and 18.04 of the Colton Municipal Code.
