i <br />City Council Meeting of September 19, 1995 <br />Professional Services Contract for Capital Infrastructure Study <br />Page 2 <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />Should the City Council not wish to select Topping Jaquess, Consultants, Inc., it may direct <br />staff to meet with any of the remaining consultants to negotiate a more favorable <br />agreement. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Costs for the capital infrastructure study are to be derived from the County of San <br />Bernardino, as a result of the negotiations for the medical center. The County has <br />committed to an allocation of $80,000 for the study. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />The study will be processed through an Environmental Review (Initial Study), which will <br />most likely result in a Negative Declaration or Mitigated Negative Declaration. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve a Professional Consultant Services <br />Agreement with Topping Jaquess Consultants, Inc., in the amount of $77,365, for the <br />Capital Infrastructure Study. <br />DRZ:ALS:dh <br />Attachments <br />
