Freeman, Interim City Maner <br />FROM: Gracie Fernfindez Harmon, Personnel Director A <br />SUBJECT: Claim Against the City Submitted by Ray May Plumbing: Recommend <br />Denial <br />DATE: July 24, 1996 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In accordance with the procedures adopted to insure proper and efficient handling of Liability Claims <br />against the City of Colton, the attached report has been received from the City's Liability Claims <br />Administrator. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />Claimant has Sled a claim against the City. Evaluation of the claim reflects that this case would be <br />highly questionable or no liability on the part of the City of Colton. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Not applicable. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the above -listed claim be denied to commence the Statute of Limitations. <br />GFH:amv <br />ITEM NO. 5 <br />
