CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 20, 1996 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: MALIK DANTALA FREEMAN, INTERIM CITY MANAGER L, <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL-TIME <br />POSITION OF ASSISTANT ELECTRIC UTILITY DIRECTOR IN THE <br />ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: AUGUST 14, 1996 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) vacant Assistant Electric Utility Director position in the Electric <br />Department. Attached is the job description for the classification; salary range is $4,443 - $5,400 per <br />month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted, and an eligibility list was <br />established on August 14, 1996. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the <br />education and experience requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This is an enterprise fund position and is funded for the 1996-97 fiscal <br />year as follows: Account No. 20-5001-01 (salary) and Account No. 20-5001-10 (salary related <br />benefits). <br />Thomas K.
