CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For City Council Meeting of December 17, 1996 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: Malik Dantala Freeman, City Manager' i ' 0�— <br />FROM: Gracie Fern6ndez Harmon, Personnel Director ,b <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Sideletter to MOU with Colton Police Officers Assoc., Rank & <br />File Unit <br />DATE: December 11, 1996 <br />BACKGROUND: At the direction of the City Council, representatives of the City and the Colton <br />Police Officers Association, Rank & File Unit, met and agreed to the items outlined on the attached <br />Sideletter. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: The attached agreement results in reinstatement of benefits forfeited <br />in Fiscal Year 1995-96. City Council desired to treat employees of the CPOA Rank & File Unit <br />the same as employees in units who had been targeted for furlough days for that fiscal year who <br />had part of those furlough days reinstated. <br />RECOMMENDATION: That City Council approve the attached Sideletter and authorize <br />staff to sign on behalf of the City. <br />Item No. 10 <br />
