CITY OF COLTON <br />Information Systems Coordinator (continued) <br />OUALIFICATIONS (continued) <br />Ability to: <br />Assist with research, analysis, design, recommendations, installations and support for current <br />and future micro/mainframe hardware and software requirements; identify, quickly respond, <br />and solve complex micro/mainframe system malfunctions; work cooperatively with the users; <br />communicate effectively;epare clear, concise and complete reports; assist with prioritizing, <br />organizing and executing tervice requests and other related assignments. <br />MERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Any combination of experience and education that would <br />likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the <br />knowledge and abilities would be: <br />Experience: <br />Three years experience in one or more specific application area or two years as technical <br />support in a similar environment. <br />ardware: <br />HP3000 S937; EP9000 KI00; communication devices (modems, multiplexers, access <br />servers, file servers, peer-to-peer networks, print sharing devices, dtcs, patch panels); and <br />Micro Computers <br />ofhvnre: <br />MPEix operating system; FlP UNIX; Cognos powerhouse, VESoft security; DBGeneral; <br />Novell 3.11 operating system; DOS; Microsoft Office products; Windows 95 and 3.11; <br />Intemet/Intranet systems <br />Education: <br />Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer <br />science, business or public administration, or a related field. <br />LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE: <br />Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California Class "C" driver's license. <br />APPROVED BY COUNCIL: <br />WMrd0bA0 `000RD.dm <br />2 <br />
