I <br />(a) The Director may designate areas within the parks for camping and may <br />promulgate reasonable rules and regulations pertinent to the use of subject parks <br />for camping purposes. <br />(b) No person shall use or occupy a camping facility unless the fee, (if any) <br />evidenced by a receipt, has first been paid. <br />12,24.150 Violation s --Penal ty. Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall, <br />upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a MISDEMEANOR, and subject to a fine of not <br />more than one thousand dollars ($ 1,000) or be imprisoned in the City or county jo for <br />a period not to exceed six (6) months, or both such fine and imprisonment. <br />12.24.160 Other provisions of law. The provisions of this Chapter 12.24 shall supersede <br />and take precedence over any other provisions of law set forth in the Colton Munici <br />Code affecting City parks to the extent that such provisions are inconsistent with this <br />Chapter. " <br />SECTION 2: The Mayor shall sign and the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption <br />of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published and posted pursuant to the provisions <br />of law in that regard and this Ordinance shall take effect according to law. <br />APPROVED AND ADOPTED this day of 1996. <br />ATTEST: <br />Malik D.
