R-115-96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING THE ADOPTED BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OF <br />1996-1997. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has determined the <br />need for additional Code Enforcement assistance in order to help address <br />the increasing Code Enforcement demand and activity; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's Code Enforcement efforts have become the <br />most viable means of addressing the ever increasing violations of the City's <br />Codes and Ordinances; and <br />WHEREAS, the efforts of the Code Enforcement Program are designed <br />to reduce and/or eliminate blight, unsafe, and unhealthy conditions found in <br />Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) low and moderate income <br />targeted areas; and <br />WHEREAS, due to the great demand and request for service, the Code <br />Enforcement Division has found it increasingly difficult to maintain the timely <br />responses that the community deserves. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Colton amends the adopted Budget for the Fiscal Year of 1996-1997 <br />in the following manner: <br />1. Salaries <br />(transfer from) <br />$10,000 <br />2. Salaries <br />(transfer to) <br />$10,000 <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 1" day of October, 1996. <br />ATTEST: <br />TERESA S.
