CLARKE, INTERIM WATER & WASTEWATER DIRE <br />SUBJECT: ACCEPTANCE OF THE MOJAVE PUMP STATION AS 100% <br />100% COMPLETE, AND AUTHORIZE THE INTERIM WATER AND <br />WASTEWATER DIRECTOR TO FILE THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION <br />DATE: AUGUST 26, 1996 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the December 19, 1995 Council meeting, Council awarded a contract to Roland L. <br />Hartley, Inc. for improvements to the Mojave Pump Station. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />All work has been completed, as per the bid specifications and State Department of <br />Health Services requirements. The contractor has requested final acceptance of the <br />eN project, and filing of the notice of completion. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None, the funds for the project have already been approved by Council and <br />encumbered in FY95-96. <br />-v <br />Thomas Clarke, Interim Water & Wastewater Director <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the Mohave Pump Station improvements as <br />100% complete and authorize the Interim Water and Wastewater Director to file the <br />notice of completion. <br />Report Prepared By: Lorraine June <br />ITEM 7 <br />
