CITY OF COLTON <br />INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM <br />Office of the City Attorney <br />TO: Mayor, City Councilmembers, City Manager <br />FROM: Julie Hayward Biggs, City Atto y <br />SUBJECT: Manual of Procedure Amendment <br />DATE: August 26, 1996 <br />As directed by the City Council at the last Council meeting, I have prepared the <br />attached resolution which will amend the Council Meetings Manual of Procedure. The proposed <br />amendment requires matters involving performance review or discipline, dismissal or release of <br />City employees to be placed on the agenda only by the City Manager or at the direction of no <br />less than three councilmembers. <br />Please review this proposed resolution and submit any written comments you may <br />have to me as soon as possible. This matter will be on the September 3, 1996 agenda as written <br />unless there is collective disagreement about the proposed language. In that event, the matter <br />will be placed on the agenda for public discussion and direction for the preparation of a <br />resolution reflecting the consensus of the Council. <br />ITEM 23 <br />
